How To Make Your Room Feel Like Christmas

So Christmas is finally approaching us! We are still 20 days away, which can feel like a lot of time so I thought, why not start preparing ourselves and our space to get into the festive spirit? In this article, I will be sharing with you some little things you can do and add to your room in order to make it feel like Christmas!

Switch out curtains, blankets, bedspreads, and pillowcases

These new pieces don't have to screamChristmas, that way, you can actually use them all year around! A simple pillow will look more or less Christmasy because of its color and texture, so pay attention to that when you are out there shopping!

You should choose a color scheme that matches your existing room decor and wall color. This way, you won't have to buy a ton of different things, but just buy a few items that work with what you already have!

Set the mood with the correct lighting

In order to make your room feel cosier and Christmasy, you should go for warm and subtle lights! There are many ways you can achieve this, so here are a few ideas!

Candles

Candles will not only give you that fireplace lighting mood but they can also give your room a beautiful Christmas smell too!

Christmas mini tree

This one doesn't need much explanation! haha I will only add that, if you don't have one and you don't wanna go and buy yourself one, or if you simply don't have the space for it, you can achieve the same feeling by draping some pine garlands around your room! It will bring the spirit of the Christmas tree but take up a lot less space! You can even decorate it with Christmas lights and some light ornaments too!

Create a picture collage wall

Maybe you have accumulated some pictures of your past winter breaks over the years. What better way to bring back all those joyful memories than putting them all up in your room? Don't forget about the music
