Girlboss morning routine
The key to becoming a Girlboss is to start your day like a boss.
Keep on reading to find out what morning routine successful women follow to ensure they have have a productive day:
1 | wake up early
Tip: The recommended time to wake up is typically 5:00 AM.
2 | don't check your phone
Tip: Put your phone on air plane mode so that you dedicate your morning to getting yourself prepped for the day.
3 | rehydrate with water
Tip: To give yourself an extra boost, try adding lemon in your water. Not only will it help wake you up properly, but it also helps detox your body.
4 | open your blinds & make your bed
Note: Leaving your room dark will decieve your mind into thinking its still night time and that will just make you want to stay in bed. ALWAYS remember to keep your blinds open in the morning so that your mind quickly adjusts from night time to day time.
5 | write down down 3 thing you're grateful for
Tip: Create a daily grateful log in a journal where you can write down what you cherish the most about the things/ people in your. I assure you that this will help elevate your thoughts. You can go even further and write down 3 things that would make your day great - and lastly you can write down 2 affirmitions to help motivate you to conquer your day.
6 | stretch and practice some yoga
Doing some yoga in the morning can get your day off to the right start. Getting your body moving will wake up your joints, muscles and your mind.
Tip: You can strech for a about 10- 20 minutes; you can do some streches in your bedroom, living room and you can even enjoy some yoga streches in the comfort of your sheets.
7 | wash your face & brush your teeth
Freshen up for the day!
8 | Get dressed up
Put on your best outfit.
Getting dressed up will put in you in the right mood and make you look forward to approaching your day.
Tip: Put together your outfit the nigh before to help you get ready in the morning quickly.
9 | make a nutritious breakfast
Don't skip breakfast, its one of the best ways to start your day. Eat something yummy and healthy like a bowl of oatmeal or toast, peanut butter and bananas with a side of tea.
Tip: its best that you don't stuff yourself with a lot of food (especially during the weekday) because you will feel drowsy and lazy to get on with your day. Just eat the right amount of food that gives you enough energy for the day.
10 | write down your to do list
Tip: You can write your to-do list the night before and then in the morning you can review it and see if there is anything else you need to add.
