Tips on How to Look Good and Stay Warm in Winter

Do you also ask yourself every year again how to look good and still be warm in the wintertime?

Then here you go, with this quick guide to a cozy but still good looking outfit.

THE ESSENTIALS
These three things probably everyone has at home who lives in an area where it’s getting cold in the wintertime.
1. hats/ beanies/ headbands
It is really important to protect your ears from the cold weather that’s around you! And over the years not only the options got wider but they also went stylish.

2. scarfs
If it is a big thick, soft one or just a normal thinner one – the main thing is that you have one!

3. gloves
Getting cold fingers is one of the most annoying things in the winter, that’s why you always need to have gloves with you.

JACKETS
The best is to have at least one really good and warm jacket. Here it’s more about personal style but I would always prefer a jacket that goes over my ass and has a hood!

SHOES
The one thing I see the whole winter and that freaks me out, are sneakers with sneaker socks. Guys, it’s winter! Sometimes we have negative degrees and some of you are running around like in summer? At least have boots that are going over your ankles – if you’re not wearing long socks.

LONG SOCKS
As I already mentioned long socks are the best for you! There are so many options of socks – if blank or colorful, with a pattern or without - they don’t even have to be thick but long (over your ankle)!

WHY? They not only hold you warm, but you also lose a lot of body heat over your ankles which is not good in the wintertime. Wearing it out in the cold can lead to getting sick our cooling out.

PANTS
1. jeans
We all know the struggle with this one. If you wear them pay attention that your jeans are made out of thick material. And if it still not warm enough you can wear leggings or tights under it. And also just wear jeans without holes in winter!

2. corduroy pants
This is MY TIP: corduroy pants are not only totally trendy but they’re also extremely warm and windproof.

LAYERING
This thing saves my life every winter. Outside it’s cold and you don’t wanna freeze but when you’re coming into school it’s freaking hot.
Then just wear a T-shirt under a pullover/ hoodie and maybe even a jacket over it… so you can always switch between the layers. Or if you want to wear your fav T-shirt you can just wear a long sleeve under it or a turtleneck!
