About photography

While searching for a theme for this article not only did I find it but I found a potential hobby for myself. So I thought why don’t we learn about this together?
Today, I’m introducing you to photography. Did you ever stumble upon a mesmerizing Instagram picture and thought that you want to take a photo like that and that it’s a piece of cake? Well, the truth is that it takes a lot of practice and work to get to that point, but let’s start slow.

First thing is first – you have to have something to take pictures with. A camera is important but the type of camera that you have isn’t. Don’t take me the wrong way, it is for pros, but why waiting to buy a camera when you can use that time to practice? Borrow your friend's camera or take pictures with your phone for starters. It’s only important to be consistent with work.

Whether you're on the streets, in the park, walking your dog, talking with your friends – if you feel inspired take the picture. Just try! If it doesn’t turn right you can always try again.
You can even ask one of your good friends to be your model. Just choose a fitting location and go. It will be a fun day for you. And don’t forget to try modeling yourself.

While taking pictures you have to think about light. I know you hear that all the time but it’s true. The quality of the pictures is simply not that good in the dark, at night as it is during the day.
One more important thing – perspective. If you don’t like the way that things look just change your perspective (which is also a bit of good life advice).
The best thing would be to, before doing all these steps, read about photography. There is a wide range of books and internet pages about this topic. Also, there is a lot of interesting information about its history, all the photographers and how it all evolved till today.

The good thing is that we have social media networks where you can promote your work or simply hear the opinions of other people.
That’s all for today guys. Hope you like this article and that you’ll try to be an artist even for a day. Photography is art after all.
